Heavy traffic congestion has been observed on several major roads and avenues in Baku. Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the Intellectual Transport Management Center (ITMC) has released data regarding the current traffic situation in the capital.
According to the official statement, movement is currently difficult on the following routes: 1. Baku-Sumgait highway, towards "20 January" metro station; 2. Ali Mustafayev Street, towards Ziya Bunyadov Avenue; 3. Abdulvahab Salamzade Street, towards Ziya Bunyadov Avenue; 4. Ziya Bunyadov Avenue, from the intersection with Muzaffar Narimanov Street towards "20 January" metro station; 5. Yusif Safarov Street, towards the city center; 6. Heydar Aliyev Avenue (main road), towards the center; 7. Heydar Aliyev Avenue (secondary road), towards the center; 8. Rashid Behbudov Street, towards the Central Bank; 9. Tbilisi Avenue, from "20 January" metro station towards the center; 10. 28 May Street, from the intersection with Pushkin Street to the intersection with Rashid Behbudov Street; 11. Uzeyir Hajibeyli Street, up to the intersection with Azadlig Avenue; 12. Mikayil Mushfiq Street, from "Badamdar" circle towards school-lyceum No. 20; 13. 1st Gol Kenari road, towards Ziya Bunyadov Avenue; 14. Babek Avenue, towards the center; 15. Binagadi highway, towards "Azadlig Avenue" metro station; 16. Koroglu Rahimov Street, from the intersection with Ak. Hasan Aliyev Street towards Heydar Aliyev Avenue; 17. Airport highway, towards "Koroglu" metro station.
