Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babis has extended an official invitation to President Ilham Aliyev to visit the Czech Republic.
According to Operative Information Center-OMM, the invitation was delivered during a bilateral meeting held between the two leaders on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos. In a reciprocal gesture, President Ilham Aliyev invited the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic to pay an official visit to Azerbaijan.
During the discussions, the sides emphasized the importance of high-level visits in strengthening diplomatic and economic ties between Baku and Prague. The meeting focused on expanding cooperation in various sectors, including energy, trade, and mutual investment, reflecting the growing strategic partnership between the two nations.
The World Economic Forum in Davos serves as a premier global platform where heads of state and government, business leaders, and international organizations gather to discuss pressing global issues. Azerbaijan has traditionally maintained a strong presence at the forum, utilizing the venue to promote its economic potential and foster international cooperation.
