Temperatures in Azerbaijan are expected to reach 23°C on May 7, as the country experiences a shift in weather patterns.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports that according to the National Hydrometeorological Service, Baku and the Absheron Peninsula will experience changeable cloudy and mostly dry conditions. A north-west wind is expected to be replaced by a south-east wind during the day. In the capital, the temperature will range from 11-14°C at night to 18-23°C during the day, with atmospheric pressure at 763 mm and relative humidity between 65-75%.

In the regions of Azerbaijan, intermittent rain is forecast for some areas, with the possibility of lightning, hail, and intense precipitation in specific locations. Snow is expected in high-altitude mountainous areas. Regional temperatures will fluctuate between 10-14°C at night and 18-23°C during the day, while mountainous areas will see lows of 2-7°C at night and highs of up to 16°C during the day.

The National Hydrometeorological Service, which operates under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, provides these regular updates to assist with public planning and agricultural management. Azerbaijan's diverse climate, influenced by its proximity to the Caspian Sea and the Greater and Lesser Caucasus mountain ranges, often sees such transitional weather patterns during the spring months as the country moves toward the summer season.
