"Avropanın müdafiəsi Polşa olmadan mümkün deyil"

Former US Ambassador to Warsaw Daniel Fried has identified Poland as a fundamental country essential for ensuring the defense of the European region.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports that foreign media outlets have released information regarding this statement.

"Almost everyone knows that the defense of Europe is impossible without Poland," the American diplomat stated, emphasizing the country's strategic position on the continent's eastern flank.

Fried also noted the high level of trust in Poland, which is respected by both Democrats and Republicans in the United States. "Poland is respected in the US as a democratic, prosperous, and economically successful country that invests heavily in its military," he added.

Poland has significantly increased its defense spending in recent years, aiming to build one of the strongest land forces in Europe. As a key NATO member bordering Ukraine and Belarus, Warsaw serves as a vital hub for regional security logistics and a primary advocate for strengthening the alliance's eastern borders. This strategic shift follows a broader trend in Central and Eastern Europe to bolster domestic military capabilities in response to evolving geopolitical challenges.
