Armenian wrestlers are set to participate in the U-17 World Wrestling Championship, which will be hosted in Baku.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, citing Armenpress, the Wrestling Federation of Armenia has confirmed that the national team will be represented by 16 athletes at the upcoming competition in the capital of Azerbaijan.
The tournament is scheduled to take place from July 27 to August 2. Baku has established itself as a premier venue for international sporting events, having successfully hosted numerous world-class championships, including the European Games and various world-level athletic competitions, which highlight the city's modern infrastructure and commitment to international sports diplomacy.
