At least 35 different vessels have passed through the Strait of Hormuz over the past 24 hours in coordination with the Iranian Armed Forces. According to Operative Information Center-OMM, citing foreign media reports, the transit included a variety of commercial maritime traffic navigating the strategic waterway.

The reports indicate that the 35 vessels, including oil tankers, container ships, and other commercial carriers, transited the Strait of Hormuz following official authorization. The passage was conducted under the coordination and security assurance of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Navy. Officials emphasized that despite ongoing tensions in the Persian Gulf region, the Iranian Armed Forces have established a secure maritime route to facilitate shipping and global trade.

The Strait of Hormuz remains one of the world's most vital maritime chokepoints, serving as the main artery for the transport of oil from the Middle East to global markets. Approximately one-fifth of the world's total oil consumption passes through this narrow waterway daily. Ensuring the stability and security of this corridor is considered essential for global energy security and the continuity of international supply chains, particularly for major economies in Asia and Europe.
