A theft incident has been recorded in the city of Khirdalan, Absheron district, where a bank card was stolen from a private vehicle. Law enforcement agencies have taken immediate operational measures regarding the incident.
According to Operative Information Center-OMM, citing the Press Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), a local resident filed a report with the police stating that a bank card was stolen from their Hyundai brand automobile. The victim further noted that funds were subsequently withdrawn from the account using the stolen card.
As a result of search and operational measures conducted by police officers, a suspect identified as S. Mirzayev was detained. In a related development, the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that police also carried out successful operations in the Binagadi and Garadagh districts of Baku. Two other individuals, A. Ismayilov and M. Azizov, were apprehended on suspicion of stealing household items, construction materials, and various goods from local supermarkets. Investigations into all mentioned facts are currently ongoing.
