As part of ongoing measures to combat illicit drug trafficking, officers of the Shirvan City Police Department have detained Ruslan Aliyev, a person previously convicted for similar offenses.

According to the statement, approximately 8 kilograms of marijuana were discovered and seized from the suspect during the search. A criminal case has been initiated regarding the fact, and by court order, a preventive measure of arrest has been chosen for the detained individual.
