Dangerous military ammunition has been discovered and neutralized in the Kangarli and Julfa districts of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. The operation was carried out following reports of unexploded ordnance found in the region, ensuring the safety of the local population.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the "112" hotline of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the autonomous republic received information regarding the discovery. According to the report, police officers located the ammunition at different times within the territories of the Kangarli and Julfa districts.
Pyrotechnicians from the ministry were immediately dispatched to the scene. Following the implementation of joint security measures with law enforcement officers, a thorough inspection of the area was conducted. The discovered items included one 120 mm artillery shell, three unguided engines for RPG-7 projectiles, three 30 mm AGS grenades, and one 2A42 cannon shell casing. Additionally, five various warheads, the tail section of a mortar shell, and one TM-62 anti-tank mine were identified. All munitions were safely removed from the area by the Ministry of Emergency Situations pyrotechnicians for subsequent neutralization.
The discovery of such munitions in Azerbaijan's liberated and border territories remains a significant focus for national security and emergency services.
