The next round of political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan and Jordan has been held in the capital.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov announced the development during a press briefing in Baku alongside Ayman Safadi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of Jordan.
Minister Bayramov stated that both one-on-one and expanded-format meetings covered all aspects of bilateral relations. "During the discussions, we expressed satisfaction with our mutual relations, specifically noting that the close and sincere contacts between the heads of the two states form the foundation of these ties. The relations between the foreign policy agencies of both countries are also at a high level," he said.
The Minister added that two significant agreements were signed during the visit, with further cooperation agreements in various sectors expected to be finalized in the near future. These consultations serve to deepen the strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Jordan, which have historically maintained strong diplomatic ties based on mutual respect and shared interests in regional stability.
