On April 10, the Economic Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan held a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Ali Asadov to discuss reforms aimed at removing obstacles to entrepreneurial activity and improving the business environment.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, citing the Cabinet of Ministers, the meeting focused on reports from the Working Group on reforms in the fields of construction, utility infrastructure connection, and industry. Natig Amirov, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan and head of the Working Group, delivered a comprehensive report on the current challenges faced by entrepreneurs and proposed solutions to streamline administrative processes.
The session included contributions from several high-ranking officials, including Minister of Justice Farid Ahmadov, Head of the State Service on Property Issues under the Ministry of Economy Matin Eynullayev, Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations Jabrayil Khanlarov, and First Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for City Planning and Architecture Namig Hummatov. Following the discussions, the Council decided to prepare amendments to relevant normative-legal acts to address the identified issues, with instructions issued to relevant government agencies to submit these proposals to the Cabinet of Ministers.
