Bakıda 3 küçə təmirə bağlanır - Siyahı

The State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads will implement traffic restrictions on three major streets in Baku starting this weekend to carry out road repair and maintenance works. The project aims to ensure the safe and comfortable movement of citizens through the capital's infrastructure.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, citing the agency, the repairs will cover Samad Vurgun Street (between Salatin Asgarova and Fuzuli streets), Rashid Behbudov Street (between May 28 and Shamsi Badalbayli streets), and the main and side roads of Heydar Aliyev Avenue (between Muzaffar Narimanov and Alasgar Gayibov streets, heading toward the city center). The works are scheduled to begin today at 23:00 and are expected to conclude by 07:00 on April 26. Preparatory works on Rashid Behbudov Street are slated to begin earlier than the scheduled start time.

These infrastructure improvements are part of Azerbaijan's broader urban development strategy to modernize the capital's transport network. Baku has seen significant investment in road infrastructure over the past decade, aimed at reducing traffic congestion and improving connectivity between the city center and suburban areas. The State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads regularly conducts such maintenance during weekends to minimize the impact on daily commuting and commercial activities. Drivers are advised to use alternative routes to avoid potential delays in the affected areas.
