On August 28, law enforcement officers in Azerbaijan successfully resolved 57 crimes recorded across the country, alongside 10 criminal cases that remained unsolved from previous periods.
This information was provided to the Operative Information Center-OMM by the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA).
According to the official report, authorities detained a total of 135 individuals who were wanted by law enforcement, including 109 people sought for outstanding debts, all of whom have been handed over to the relevant authorities.
Furthermore, the Ministry reported the identification of 20 cases related to narcotics and 6 instances involving the discovery and seizure of illegally held weapons and ammunition. In total, 48 individuals suspected of committing various criminal offenses were apprehended during these operations.
These routine police operations are part of the Ministry of Internal Affairs' ongoing efforts to maintain public order and security throughout Azerbaijan. By conducting regular raids and investigations in both the capital, Baku, and the regions, the Ministry aims to curb criminal activity, enforce the rule of law, and ensure the safety of citizens across the Republic.
