The State Border Service (SBS) of Azerbaijan has officially inaugurated its new Logistics Center and Border Control Training Center, marking a significant advancement in the country's border security infrastructure.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the State Border Service press center confirmed the launch of these facilities.
During the opening ceremonies, officials emphasized that under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, the State Border Service has undergone extensive modernization. These efforts have focused on creating state-of-the-art military infrastructure, improving service and living conditions for personnel, and significantly enhancing the reliability of border protection across the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The newly commissioned Border Control Training Center is equipped with modern classrooms, specialized auditoriums, and administrative offices designed to train professional personnel in border control operations. The facility provides a robust foundation for high-level educational and training processes.
Furthermore, the new Logistics Center features modernized infrastructure, including administrative and service buildings, as well as advanced warehouse facilities. These upgrades are designed to facilitate more efficient and rapid logistical support for border units, adhering to contemporary international standards.
Following the official proceedings, the leadership of the State Border Service inspected the new facilities to review the infrastructure and the conditions created for the personnel.
