The aviation units of the Azerbaijan Air Force have successfully executed a series of training flights to enhance combat readiness.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the Ministry of Defense reported that the exercises began with comprehensive health checks for the flight crews and safety briefings, followed by detailed inspections of the aircraft.
In accordance with the training plan, practical flights were conducted using "JF-17C" (Block-III), "Su-25ML", "Su-25", and "L-39" aircraft. During the drills, pilots performed both individual and group flights, focusing on aerial coordination, execution of simulated combat missions, tactical maneuvers, and target acquisition and destruction. The training also emphasized decision-making skills in complex scenarios.
The primary objective of these exercises is to elevate the combat readiness and professional proficiency of the flight crews. Special attention was given to the precise and safe execution of tasks under varying meteorological and tactical conditions, as well as the refinement of the combat application capabilities of the aviation assets.
The Azerbaijan Air Force regularly conducts such training exercises to maintain high operational standards. These drills are essential for ensuring the country's aerial defense capabilities, particularly in integrating modern aircraft like the JF-17C into the existing fleet and maintaining the operational readiness of the Su-25 attack aircraft, which are critical for close air support missions.
