Tramp: İran ya danışıqlara gedəcək, ya da görünməmiş problemlərlə üzləşəcək

US President Donald Trump has stated that Iran must choose between entering negotiations or facing "unprecedented problems," emphasizing that Washington will never permit Tehran to acquire nuclear weapons.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the president, speaking during a phone interview with the "The John Fredericks Show," expressed confidence that the Iranian leadership would eventually return to the negotiating table. Trump noted that while he hopes for a fair deal that would allow Iran to rebuild its economy, the prevention of nuclear proliferation remains a non-negotiable priority.

"If they do not [negotiate], they will face problems they have never seen before," the president warned.

Reiterating that a nuclear-armed Iran would be a disaster for the world, US President Donald Trump outlined the following points:

  • They will not have access to nuclear weapons.
  • There will be no chance for them to possess such weapons.
  • We cannot allow this, as it would mean the end of the world.

Defending the current US policy toward Tehran, Trump described the administration's stance as a strategic necessity. "We had no other choice in the Iran matter; we were forced to do this," he added, justifying the continued diplomatic and economic pressure on the Iranian government.

The relationship between Washington and Tehran remains a central pillar of US foreign policy, often involving complex sanctions regimes designed to limit Iran's nuclear capabilities. Historically, the US has sought to replace previous agreements with more robust frameworks that address not only nuclear enrichment but also regional security and ballistic missile programs. These latest statements reflect the administration's ongoing commitment to a policy of strength to ensure regional stability and prevent the escalation of nuclear threats in the Middle East.
