The composition of the Supervisory Board of the Administration of Regional Medical Divisions (TABIB) has been approved following a decree signed by President Ilham Aliyev.
According to Operative Information Center-OMM, the new board structure is led by the Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan for Social and Economic Affairs, who will serve as the Chairman of the Supervisory Board.
The newly approved members of the Supervisory Board include the Deputy Minister of Finance, the Deputy Minister of Health, the Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, and the Chairman of the Trade Union of Health Workers. Previously, the position of Chairman of the Supervisory Board was held by the Chairman of the Board of the State Agency on Mandatory Health Insurance.
TABIB was established in Azerbaijan to ensure the implementation of mandatory health insurance and to manage medical institutions under its jurisdiction. The organization plays a critical role in the country's healthcare reforms, focusing on improving the quality of medical services and optimizing the management of state-run hospitals and clinics across the Republic of Azerbaijan.
