Due to rainy weather conditions observed in Baku, the speed limit on certain lanes of the Zigh Circle-Airport highway has been reduced by 20 km/h.
The Intellectual Transport Management Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs informed Operative Information Center-OMM about the measure. The center's staff have updated the electronic information boards accordingly, and a "slippery road" warning sign has been displayed on all monitors along the route.
Drivers are requested to remain vigilant on the roads and strictly adhere to the established speed limits to ensure safety during the inclement weather. Such preventive measures are standard protocol in Azerbaijan to minimize the risk of traffic accidents during periods of high precipitation and reduced visibility on major arterial roads connecting the capital with the international airport.
