Significant traffic congestion has been reported on several major roads and avenues in Baku. According to the Transport Intellectual Management Center (NİİM), the movement of vehicles has become difficult across various key directions in the capital.

The Operative Information Center-OMM reports that heavy density is currently observed on Heydar Aliyev Avenue (main road towards the center), the Baku-Sumgait highway (towards the "20 January" metro station), and Tbilisi Avenue. Other affected areas include Ziya Bunyadov Avenue, 8 November Avenue, and Yusif Safarov Street. Traffic is also significantly slowed on Uzeyir Hajibeyli, 28 May, and Ali Mustafayev streets as commuters navigate through the morning rush.

Traffic congestion in Baku often intensifies during peak hours due to the high volume of vehicles entering the city from suburban areas and neighboring Sumgait. The Transport Intellectual Management Center continuously monitors the situation through a centralized surveillance system to regulate traffic lights and manage the flow in real-time. Drivers are advised to consider alternative routes where possible to avoid delays in the capital's central transport hubs and ensure smoother transit during periods of high density.
