In accordance with the bilateral military cooperation plan signed between the Ministries of Defense of Azerbaijan and Serbia, a delegation from the Serbian Ministry of Defense has arrived in Azerbaijan for an official visit.

During the visit, a meeting was held at the Institute of Military Administration, which operates under the National Defense University. The Serbian delegation was presented with a briefing on the "Geopolitical Aspects of the Conflict," highlighting the combat experience gained by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces during the 44-day Patriotic War. Following the briefing, the delegation received a comprehensive overview of the Azerbaijani Army's military education system and current training processes.

The parties discussed the military education systems of both nations, the operational activities of their respective educational institutions, and the implementation of modern pedagogical approaches. The meeting concluded with a detailed exchange of views on other matters of mutual interest, further strengthening the defense ties between Baku and Belgrade.

Azerbaijan and Serbia have been actively expanding their bilateral relations in recent years, particularly in the defense and energy sectors. This visit underscores the growing strategic partnership between the two nations, as they seek to align military training standards and share expertise in modern warfare tactics and institutional management.
