The preliminary investigation into the criminal case of Murad Mammadhasan oglu Ahmadov, who served as the head of the Saatli district department of the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription for Military Service, has been concluded. Ahmadov faces charges of bribery.

According to the investigation, between 2024 and 2025, while serving in his official capacity, Murad Ahmadov allegedly accepted bribes on multiple occasions. The investigation suggests he received funds from various individuals to exempt them from mandatory medical re-examinations, despite these individuals having previously been declared unfit for active military service due to health conditions.
Based on the gathered evidence, Murad Ahmadov has been charged under Article 311.3.2 (repeated bribery) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Following a motion by the investigative body and a presentation by the prosecutor overseeing the preliminary investigation, the court ordered his arrest and removal from office as precautionary measures.
The criminal case has been transferred to the Jalilabad Military Court for further proceedings.
