Rainy weather conditions are expected in various parts of Azerbaijan on April 14, according to the latest forecasts. Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the National Hydrometeorological Service has issued a statement regarding the upcoming atmospheric changes across the country.
In Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, the weather is expected to be changeably cloudy and occasionally overcast. While intermittent rain is predicted in certain areas, a break in precipitation is anticipated during the daylight hours. A moderate north-west wind will be replaced by a south-east wind in the afternoon. The temperature in the capital will range from 8-10°C at night to 14-17°C during the day, with atmospheric pressure rising from 763 mm to 766 mm Hg and relative humidity staying between 65-75%.
In the regions of Azerbaijan, intermittent precipitation is expected, with snow forecast for mountainous areas. While short-term intensive rainfall may occur in specific locations, it is predicted to gradually cease toward the evening. Fog is also expected in some districts, accompanied by a moderate western wind. Regional temperatures will fluctuate between 6-9°C at night and 14-19°C during the day, while in the mountains, temperatures will drop to 3-8°C below zero at night and 0-3°C below zero during the day.
The National Hydrometeorological Service of Azerbaijan regularly monitors atmospheric conditions to provide timely updates for the public and relevant state agencies. Such seasonal fluctuations in April are characteristic of the region's transitional climate, often requiring increased caution for drivers in mountainous terrain due to potential fog and slippery road conditions.
