Weather conditions in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula on May 23 are expected to be changeably cloudy and occasionally gloomy, but primarily rainless, according to the latest forecast.

The Operative Information Center-OMM was informed by the National Hydrometeorological Service that there is a possibility of brief, light rain in some areas during the day. A north-west wind is expected to be replaced by a south-east wind in the afternoon. The air temperature in the capital will range between 15-19°C at night and 22-27°C during the day, with some areas reaching up to 28°C. Atmospheric pressure will stand at 763 mm Hg, with relative humidity at 70-75% at night and 55-65% during the day.

In the regions of Azerbaijan, intermittent precipitation is expected in various locations. There is a possibility of brief intensive rain, lightning, and hail in specific areas, while snow may fall in high mountainous regions. Fog is anticipated in some districts during the morning and night hours, accompanied by a moderate west wind. Temperatures in the regions will be 14-17°C at night and 23-28°C during the day, while mountainous areas will see 3-8°C at night and 12-17°C during the day, reaching up to 23°C in certain spots.

The National Hydrometeorological Service of Azerbaijan regularly monitors atmospheric conditions to provide accurate forecasts for the country's diverse climate zones. These seasonal temperature increases are typical for late May in Azerbaijan as the region transitions into the summer period, often characterized by stable sunny weather in the Absheron Peninsula and more volatile conditions in the mountainous districts.
