"Air India" təyyarə qəzası ilə bağlı istintaq yekun mərhələyə çatdı

The investigation into the "Air India" plane crash in India, which resulted in 260 fatalities, has entered its final stage.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, documents submitted to the court by India's Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) indicate that the majority of the investigation into the causes of the crash has been completed. Investigators have finalized the transcript of the cockpit voice recordings and conducted psychological evaluations of the pilots. Analysis of data retrieved from the engine monitoring unit, discovered in late May, is currently underway, alongside an examination of potential organizational factors.

The investigation has involved extensive interviews with the crew of the "Boeing 787", engineers, and air traffic controllers. The AAIB noted that speculative media reports blaming the pilots have hindered the process, causing some witnesses to hesitate in providing testimony. Meanwhile, the family of Captain Pushkar Raj Sabharwal has filed a legal challenge, contesting allegations that the pilot intentionally disrupted fuel flow. The AAIB expects to conclude the remaining inquiries within six weeks, with a preliminary final report anticipated in October. This report will be shared with relevant international bodies, including the US National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB). The incident occurred on June 12, 2025, when the "Boeing 787" departed from Ahmedabad and crashed shortly thereafter, resulting in the loss of 260 lives.
