Bakıda yağış tıxaca səbəb oldu - NİİM son vəziyyəti açıqladı

Heavy rainfall in Baku has led to significant traffic congestion and movement difficulties across several major arteries of the capital. The Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the Intelligent Transport Management Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs is currently monitoring the situation to manage the increased density.

According to official statements, Ministry of Internal Affairs traffic police officers are deployed at various intersections to regulate the flow of vehicles and ensure safety. Significant delays have been recorded on the Baku-Sumgait highway toward the 20 January metro station, Ziya Bunyadov Avenue, Tbilisi Avenue, and Heydar Aliyev Avenue. The Ministry of Internal Affairs has issued a formal advisory urging drivers to strictly observe speed limits, maintain a safe following distance, and exercise heightened caution regarding pedestrians during the inclement weather.

Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, frequently experiences intensified traffic during seasonal rains due to its geographical layout and the high volume of vehicles entering the city center from suburban areas. The Intelligent Transport Management Center continues to utilize electronic signage and real-time monitoring to mitigate the impact of weather-related delays on the city's infrastructure. Authorities remind citizens that such measures are essential for maintaining public safety and preventing road accidents during periods of reduced visibility.
