"A total of 16 people have been injured as a result of a drone attack carried out by Ukraine," according to the Operative Information Center-OMM.

Andrey Vorobyov, the governor of Russia's Moscow region, confirmed that the Ukrainian military launched a series of drone strikes targeting the region. According to Vorobyov, one of the unmanned aerial vehicles struck a multi-story residential building in the city of Zhukovsky.

Following the incident, residents of the affected building were evacuated.

The attacks also caused material damage in Lyubertsy, where a sports facility and an industrial enterprise were impacted. Additionally, a fire broke out at a shopping center in Kotelniki. Governor Vorobyov stated that among the 16 injured individuals, two are children. Medical assistance is currently being provided to the victims, and emergency crews are working to mitigate the consequences of the strikes.

Drone attacks on major urban centers have become a recurring element of the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine. These incidents often target critical infrastructure and residential areas, prompting heightened security measures and emergency responses from local authorities in the affected regions.
