Bakının 8 əsas yolunda sıxlıq: Hərəkət sürəti kəskin azaldı

Heavy traffic congestion has been observed on several main roads and avenues in Baku, causing significant delays for commuters. According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the Transport Intellectual Management Center (NİİM) has reported that movement speed has sharply decreased across eight primary transport arteries in the capital.

The affected routes include the 1st Lakeside road heading towards Ziya Bunyadov Avenue, the Baku-Sumgait highway in the direction of the "20 January" metro station, and Alı Mustafayev and Abdulvahab Salamzade streets. Additionally, heavy traffic is currently being monitored on Tbilisi Avenue, the main road of Heydar Aliyev Avenue towards the city center, the Airport highway towards the "Koroghlu" metro station, and Ziya Bunyadov Avenue between the intersections of Ahmad Rajabli and Atatürk streets.

Traffic congestion in Baku often intensifies during peak hours as vehicles move between the city center and suburban residential areas. The Transport Intellectual Management Center (NİİM) in Azerbaijan utilizes a network of cameras and sensors to monitor traffic flow in real-time, providing data to help manage the capital's growing transport demands. The government continues to implement infrastructure projects, including new road junctions and expanded public transit, to alleviate pressure on the city's main highways.
