"Allied relations are a great responsibility, and we are ready for this responsibility," said President Ilham Aliyev.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, President Ilham Aliyev made this statement while delivering a joint press briefing with President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov.
"Today, together with you, we have elevated our interstate relations to the highest level, once again demonstrating our shared intention to strengthen our mutual cooperation. We will continue to support each other in all initiatives, both on international platforms, in the trade and economic sphere, and in the field of strengthening security," President Ilham Aliyev noted.
During the meeting, the head of state formally invited President Sadyr Japarov to pay a state visit to Azerbaijan. This invitation underscores the deepening bilateral ties between the two nations, which have been characterized by growing cooperation in energy, transport, and cultural sectors in recent years.
Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan, both members of the Organization of Turkic States, have actively sought to expand their strategic partnership. The strengthening of these ties is part of a broader effort to enhance connectivity across the Turkic world, with both nations emphasizing the importance of shared historical and cultural roots in their diplomatic agenda.
