President Ilham Aliyev has presented the "Dostlug" (Friendship) Order to Muhammad Sulaiman Al-Jasser, President of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the presentation ceremony took place as the head of state received a delegation consisting of heads of member institutions of the Arab Coordination Group.
During the meeting, Muhammad Sulaiman Al-Jasser expressed his gratitude to the head of state for the high recognition of his efforts. The award was granted in accordance with a decree signed by President Ilham Aliyev, acknowledging Al-Jasser's significant contributions to the development of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the Islamic Development Bank.
The Islamic Development Bank has been a key partner in Azerbaijan's socio-economic development, supporting various infrastructure, energy, and social projects across the country. The Arab Coordination Group, which includes the IsDB, plays a vital role in financing development initiatives globally, and its ongoing collaboration with Baku underscores Azerbaijan's strengthening ties with Islamic financial institutions and international development partners.
