The Israeli embassy in Baku has extended its congratulations to the people of Azerbaijan on the occasion of the Ramadan holiday.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the congratulatory message was published on the "X" social media platform.
"We sincerely congratulate the people of Azerbaijan on the occasion of the Ramadan holiday and convey our best wishes. May this holy holiday bring peace, prosperity, and unity, as well as contribute to the strengthening of mercy, generosity, and mutual understanding among people," the statement said.
The diplomatic mission expressed hope that the spiritual values of Ramadan would further contribute to the strengthening of friendship and cooperation between the peoples of Azerbaijan and Israel. "We express our deep respect to you and wish you a blessed and peaceful Ramadan holiday," the embassy noted.
Azerbaijan and Israel maintain a strategic partnership characterized by high-level political dialogue and extensive cooperation in energy, defense, and technology. The two nations share a long history of cultural exchange, particularly through the Jewish community in Azerbaijan, which has lived in the country for centuries in an environment of tolerance and multiculturalism.
