Orban və Zelenski arasında görüş keçiriləcək

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy have reached an agreement to hold a bilateral meeting. According to reports from the Reuters agency, the head of the Hungarian government confirmed that the two leaders will establish direct contact in the near future, following a recent telephone conversation where the format of the meeting was finalized.

Despite the upcoming diplomatic engagement, Budapest has maintained that its fundamental policy regarding the conflict in Ukraine remains unchanged. While Hungary continues to provide humanitarian aid to Ukraine, the government has reiterated its firm stance against supplying lethal weapons or deploying military personnel to the region.

The relationship between Budapest and Kyiv has been complex, particularly regarding Ukraine's aspirations for European Union membership. Prime Minister Orban has previously expressed reservations about accelerating accession talks, arguing that the process requires more extensive deliberation before moving to subsequent stages. The upcoming meeting is expected to address these ongoing diplomatic challenges and bilateral relations between the two nations.
