In the 2025-2026 academic year, the average monthly salary of teachers working in general education institutions under the jurisdiction of the Baku City Education Department reached 1,109 manats.
This information was provided to the Operative Information Center-OMM by the Baku City Education Department.
It was further noted that the average monthly salary for educators working in preschool educational institutions stands at 583 manats.
These figures reflect ongoing efforts by the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan to standardize and improve remuneration across the education sector. The Ministry regularly reviews salary structures to ensure that educators, who play a pivotal role in the nation's human capital development, receive competitive compensation aligned with current economic conditions in Azerbaijan.
