Nikol Paşinyan 30 illik nikahına son qoydu

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has officially commented on the dissolution of his long-term relationship with his wife, Anna Hakobyan, following public speculation regarding their separation.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the Prime Minister released an official statement regarding the matter on his Facebook social media account.

In his post, Pashinyan stated: "I respect Anna's decision. Over the last 30 years, she has been by my side through all my difficult days, serving as my pillar and support. I am not sure if I have been the same for her. Perhaps I have caused her more pain, and for that, I apologize."

The statement follows a prior announcement by Anna Hakobyan, who confirmed that the news circulating on social media regarding the "end of their civil marriage" indeed referred to the conclusion of their life together. Hakobyan noted that she will be moving into a rental apartment as the property she purchased is still under construction. She further disclosed that she currently has 5 million drams (approximately $13,300) remaining in her account for living expenses.

Despite the separation, Anna Hakobyan outlined her future plans, emphasizing her intention to continue her work with the "My Step" foundation. The couple, who have four children, had been a prominent fixture in Armenian public life since Pashinyan took office following the 2018 political shifts in the country. This personal development comes at a time of significant political transition and internal scrutiny within the Armenian administration.
