New directors have been appointed to general education institutions with more than 500 students in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic following the results of a centralized competition held across the country. The appointments were made to fill vacancies within the educational facilities operating under the Ministry of Education of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that 11 candidates applied for four vacant positions during the interview stage of the competition. Following the selection process, six individuals qualified for the interview phase, of whom four were successfully appointed to the respective roles. The new appointees include Hasan Hasanov at the Heydar Aliyev Secondary School, Gunel Guliyeva at Nakhchivan City Secondary School No. 10, Safa Aliyev at Sharur City Secondary School No. 2, and Ilaha Jafarova at the Givrag village secondary school in the Kangarli district.
The centralized recruitment process for school directors in Azerbaijan is part of broader educational reforms aimed at ensuring transparency, meritocracy, and high management standards within the national school system. These competitions, conducted regularly by the Ministry of Science and Education, are designed to identify qualified professionals capable of leading large-scale educational institutions.
