İranda internet 1488 saatdır kəsilib: 63 günlük ağır vəziyyət

New data has been released regarding the ongoing internet disruptions in Iran.

The Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the NetBlocks organization has stated that internet restrictions in the country have now reached 63 days, resulting in a total of more than 1,488 hours of interruptions.

According to the organization's statement, these long-term restrictions significantly weaken connections with the outside world and limit the flow of information. NetBlocks also noted that this situation makes it difficult for people living abroad to check on the well-being of their relatives in Iran, as communication opportunities have been severely restricted.

Internet shutdowns and digital censorship are often utilized as tools to manage domestic narratives and restrict the coordination of social movements. Such prolonged outages not only isolate the population from global information networks but also lead to substantial economic consequences, impacting digital commerce and the reliability of essential online services. International human rights organizations frequently monitor these disruptions as indicators of broader social and political developments within the region.
