Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has warned that any new military operations by Israel against Lebanon would be viewed as a violation of a memorandum of understanding currently being negotiated with the United States.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the Foreign Minister made these remarks during a meeting with foreign ambassadors.

"In our view, any military attack by the Zionist regime against Lebanon or further occupation of Lebanese territories would constitute a breach of the memorandum of understanding," Araghchi stated.

It should be noted that representatives from the United States and Iran, alongside Pakistan, which is acting as a mediator, have confirmed that an agreement has been reached. The signing of the accord is scheduled for June 19 in Geneva.

According to Iranian sources, following the signing of the memorandum, the parties intend to discuss various issues, including Tehran's nuclear program, within a 60-day period. Furthermore, it has been reported that starting June 15, the United States will lift the naval blockade imposed on the Islamic Republic, and a comprehensive, permanent cessation of military operations across various fronts, including Lebanon, is anticipated.

This diplomatic development comes amidst ongoing regional tensions in the Middle East, where international efforts are focused on de-escalating conflicts and establishing long-term stability through structured agreements between major regional and global powers.
