Iran's Supreme National Security Council has announced what it describes as a strategic victory over the United States, detailing a set of conditions allegedly accepted by the White House. According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, citing the Fars News Agency, US President Donald Trump has reportedly accepted a 10-point proposal submitted by Tehran.

The statement emphasizes that the Islamic Republic has compelled America to adopt this 10-point plan, claiming a decisive shift in the ongoing tensions between the two nations. The council asserts that the United States has committed to several major obligations under this framework, which aims to redefine the security landscape in the Middle East.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the plan presented to the White House includes the following alleged commitments by the US:

  • A guarantee of non-aggression by America;
  • Recognition of Iran's continued control over the Strait of Hormuz;
  • Acceptance of Iran's uranium enrichment activities;
  • The lifting of all economic sanctions;
  • The termination of all resolutions passed by the UN Security Council and the International Atomic Energy Agency against Iran;
  • Payment of reparations for damages caused to Iran;
  • The withdrawal of the US military from the region;
  • A cessation of hostilities on all fronts, including the conflict against the Islamic resistance in Lebanon (Hezbollah).

It should be noted that US President Donald Trump previously stated his readiness to suspend bombardments and attacks against Iran for a two-week period, provided that Tehran ensures the full, immediate, and safe opening of the Strait of Hormuz. The Strait remains one of the world's most critical oil transit chokepoints, and its status is a focal point of global energy security and geopolitical stability.

The relationship between Washington and Tehran has been characterized by decades of diplomatic friction and economic pressure. This latest development follows a period of heightened military posturing in the Persian Gulf. Historically, the United States has utilized sanctions as a primary tool of foreign policy to influence Iran's nuclear program and regional activities, while Azerbaijan, as a neighboring state, maintains a policy of regional stability and balanced diplomacy in the South Caucasus and beyond.
