İran ABŞ-yə sərt mesaj verdi: "Sarsıdıcı cavab veriləcək"

The command of the Iranian Armed Forces has strongly condemned recent US military strikes targeting locations in the country's southern regions.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, citing Iranian media reports, the official statement characterizes the US military action as a violation of international obligations. The statement further notes that the attack coincided with the memorial ceremony for Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

Tehran has officially labeled the incident a violation of international law. The Iranian leadership also issued a stern warning regarding the Strait of Hormuz, asserting that the only safe route for commercial vessels and oil tankers is the one designated by the Islamic Republic of Iran. Official Tehran emphasized that it will not tolerate external interference in the management of the Strait of Hormuz or regional processes.

The Iranian Armed Forces command has vowed a "crushing response" to the US attack. The statement described the incident as a "defeat of global arrogance" and reiterated the country's determination to defend its sovereignty. The US side has not yet issued a response to these statements.

The Strait of Hormuz is a critical maritime chokepoint, serving as a vital artery for global energy supplies, with a significant portion of the world's oil production passing through its narrow waters daily. Tensions in this region have historically been a flashpoint for geopolitical friction between Iran and Western powers, particularly the United States, given the strategic importance of the waterway for international trade and energy security.
