Tehran has warned that it will launch significantly more powerful strikes against the oil and gas facilities of the United States, Israel, and their Middle Eastern allies if further attacks are carried out against Iran's energy infrastructure.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) issued the warning in a statement to Iranian state television, Operative Information Center-OMM reports.

"American and Zionist aggressors, we warn you once again that you made a serious mistake by attacking the energy infrastructure of the Islamic Republic and have already received a response. If this happens again, subsequent attacks against your energy infrastructure and that of your allies will not stop until they are completely destroyed, and our response will be harsher than today's strikes," the statement read.

The escalation follows a previous incident where Tehran launched missile strikes against major liquefied natural gas (LNG) production facilities in Qatar. Those strikes were reportedly carried out in retaliation for an attack on Iran's primary South Pars natural gas field.

The South Pars/North Dome field is the world's largest natural gas field, shared between Iran and Qatar. It serves as the backbone of Iran's domestic energy supply and its export potential. Given the strategic importance of this region to global energy markets, any sustained military action against such infrastructure poses a significant threat to international energy security and could lead to a substantial spike in global oil and gas prices. The ongoing tensions reflect the deepening geopolitical rift in the Middle East, involving both regional powers and global actors like the United States.
