The Naval Forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) have carried out a strike against the Al Dhafra airbase of the United States located in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the IRGC press service released a statement regarding the operation. According to the Iranian side, the attack successfully targeted and hit the US satellite communication center, as well as radar stations used for early warning and fire control systems.

The Al Dhafra Air Base is a critical military installation located approximately 32 kilometers south of Abu Dhabi, serving as a major hub for US Air Force operations in the Middle East. This escalation comes amid a period of heightened geopolitical friction in the region. US President Donald Trump has previously emphasized the importance of regional security and the protection of American strategic assets. The incident marks a significant development in the ongoing security challenges involving maritime and aerial sovereignty in the Persian Gulf corridor.
