The Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, has sent a congratulatory letter to President Ilham Aliyev.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the message reads:
"Your Excellency,
On the occasion of your country's Independence Day, I extend to you and the people of Azerbaijan my sincerest greetings and best wishes on behalf of the people of the State of Qatar and on my own behalf.
I wish you good health, and I wish your brotherly country continued progress and prosperity, as well as the further development and strengthening of the mutual relations between our countries."
Azerbaijan and Qatar maintain strong diplomatic and economic ties, characterized by high-level political dialogue and cooperation across various sectors, including energy and investment. The two nations have consistently supported each other within international organizations, fostering a partnership that continues to expand in scope and depth.
