The State Examination Center (SEC) has issued a formal advisory for candidates participating in the upcoming Azerbaijani language (state language) examinations scheduled for June 21. This session will include students and applicants who completed their registration between May 25 and June 2.

According to information provided to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the examination is intended for applicants seeking admission to higher or secondary specialized educational institutions who either did not participate in or received a "fail" grade during the previous examination held on May 3. Furthermore, current-year graduates who were unable to attend the May 3 Azerbaijani language examination for general (9-year) or full (11-year) secondary education levels are also eligible to participate. All candidates in these categories are required to print their examination admission slips from the official SEC website.

Participants must present the following documents upon arrival at the examination venue:

  • Examination admission slip;
  • Original identification document.

Specific requirements for identification include:

  • a) Citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan (including students under 16) must present their national identity card;
  • b) Foreign nationals and stateless persons must present residency permits issued by the State Migration Service, while foreign citizens with refugee status and their family members must present their refugee cards;
  • For individuals whose identity cards do not contain a photograph, a certificate issued by their educational institution with a 3x4 cm photograph attached and stamped is required in addition to other documents.

The SEC emphasizes that candidates must bring the original identification document and the admission slip. Failure to present these documents, or any discrepancies found between them, will result in the candidate being denied entry to the examination. The State Examination Center plays a critical role in Azerbaijan's education system by standardizing assessment procedures for university admissions and secondary school graduation, ensuring transparency and fairness in the evaluation of student knowledge nationwide.
