The State Examination Center (SEC) of Azerbaijan will conduct repeat examinations for the general (9-year) secondary education level on June 21, 2026.
This information was provided to the Operative Information Center-OMM by the SEC.
The examinations will be organized in Baku, Absheron, and Sumgait. Candidates who registered between May 25-27 and intend to participate in the competition for colleges based on 9-year education are eligible to sit for these exams. Eligible candidates may print their "Exam Admission Slip" online.
Additionally, students (both current and previous years' 9th-grade students) who applied to their respective schools in the aforementioned cities and districts on May 25-26 are also eligible to participate in the June 21 exams. These students can print their admission slips here.
The examinations are scheduled to begin at 10:00 AM. Access to the exam buildings will close at 09:45 AM, 15 minutes before the start time. Participants arriving after this deadline will not be admitted.
To ensure a smooth entry process, specific arrival times have been assigned to participants, which are indicated on their admission slips. Candidates are strongly advised to arrive at the designated time.
Participants must bring the following documents to the exam:
- Exam Admission Slip;
- Original identification document:
- a) Citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan (including those under 16) must present their ID card;
- b) Foreign nationals and stateless persons must present residence permits issued by the State Migration Service, while foreign citizens with refugee status and their family members must present their refugee cards;
- For participants whose ID cards do not contain a photograph, a certificate issued by their educational institution with a 3x4 cm photo attached and stamped is required.
A total of 365 candidates are expected to participate. Among them are 6 students with disabilities (including visual impairments, cerebral palsy, and hearing impairments). To accommodate these students, the SEC has allocated special halls, and individual supervisors have been assigned to those with 81-100% impairment of bodily functions.
The administration of the exams will involve 3 general exam supervisors, 6 exam supervisors, 41 invigilators, 6 admission control staff, and 3 building representatives.
The State Examination Center plays a critical role in Azerbaijan's education system by standardizing assessment procedures for secondary and higher education admissions, ensuring transparency and equal opportunity for all students across the country.
