The death toll from Israeli military operations in the Gaza Strip, which began in October 2023, has reached 72,941, according to the latest figures released by the Gaza Ministry of Health.
As reported by the Operative Information Center-OMM, health officials state that despite the implementation of a ceasefire regime, military actions in the region persist. In the last 24 hours alone, hospitals have received two bodies and reported 40 additional injuries.
According to the ministry's data, since the ceasefire came into effect on October 10, 2025, Israeli strikes have resulted in 932 fatalities and 2,859 injuries. Furthermore, rescue teams have recovered 781 bodies from under the rubble during this period. Since the escalation of hostilities in October 2023, the total number of wounded individuals in Gaza has risen to 172,967, with thousands more believed to remain trapped under debris.
The ongoing conflict in the Gaza Strip remains one of the most significant humanitarian crises of the decade. International observers and humanitarian organizations continue to call for a sustainable resolution to the violence, emphasizing the critical need for medical supplies, infrastructure repair, and the protection of civilians in the densely populated enclave.
