Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar have held a telephone conversation to discuss the strengthening of bilateral relations.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the information was released via the official X account of the Pakistan Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

During the call, the ministers exchanged views on the latest developments in the regional situation and discussed bilateral issues of mutual interest. Both sides emphasized the importance of maintaining high-level dialogues to further enhance the strategic partnership between Baku and Islamabad.

Azerbaijan and Pakistan maintain a high level of strategic cooperation, characterized by strong political ties and mutual support on international platforms. Pakistan was one of the first countries to recognize Azerbaijan's independence in 1991 and has consistently supported Azerbaijan's territorial integrity. The two nations continue to expand cooperation across various sectors, including defense, energy, and trade, reflecting a shared commitment to regional stability and economic development.
