During the first six months of this year, a total of 340 projects worth 1,064.1 million manats were implemented under the "Great Return" program in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan.
The Operative Information Center-OMM reported this information, citing data from the Ministry of Finance.
According to the report, the breakdown of the implemented projects includes 182 social projects, 76 transport initiatives, 36 water management and land reclamation projects, 19 defense and law enforcement projects, 11 energy and industrial projects, and 16 other miscellaneous projects.
The "Great Return" program is a strategic national initiative aimed at the large-scale reconstruction and rehabilitation of the Garabagh and East Zangazur economic regions. Following the restoration of Azerbaijan's territorial integrity, the government has prioritized the rapid development of infrastructure, the construction of modern residential areas, and the revitalization of local economies to facilitate the safe and dignified return of former internally displaced persons (IDPs) to their ancestral lands.
