The duration of salary bonuses for medical personnel providing outpatient and polyclinic care to patients infected with the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) at special outpatient medical centers under the Baku City Main Health Department has been extended.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, Prime Minister Ali Asadov has signed a decree to this effect.
Under the new decision, the period for these additional payments, which was previously set to expire, has been extended from July 1 to October 1. This measure is part of the ongoing efforts by the Cabinet of Ministers to support healthcare workers who continue to manage the aftermath of the pandemic in the capital.
Since the onset of the global pandemic, the Republic of Azerbaijan has implemented various social and economic support mechanisms for frontline medical workers. These salary supplements are designed to recognize the continued dedication of healthcare staff operating within the specialized outpatient facilities established to maintain public health safety in Baku.
