The Azerbaijan Grand Prix in Formula 1 has got underway.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the first free practice session began at 12:30 p.m.
The main drivers will also take part in a second practice session today.
The Baku Grand Prix will conclude on Sept. 26.
The Baku City Circuit is a street track that winds through the capital, combining fast sections with tight corners and placing particular demands on drivers and teams. The Azerbaijan Grand Prix has been a regular round of the Formula 1 calendar since 2016, excluding the 2020 season.
