Urgent repair and restoration works continue across the capital to ensure more comfortable and safe movement for citizens.
The State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads provided this information to the Operative Information Center-OMM. It was noted that to minimize interference with daily life, the repair works were primarily carried out during the weekend.
To ensure the timely completion of the projects, a 24-hour continuous work schedule was organized over the weekend. During the repair process, all necessary measures were taken to minimize obstacles to traffic flow. As a result, repair and restoration works have been successfully completed in four key areas:
- 1. Rashid Behbudov Street (the section from Sh. Badalbayli Street to A.A. Bakikhanov Street);
- 2. Ziya Bunyadov Avenue (from M. Narimanov Street to Kh. R. Uluturk Street);
- 3. A.M. Sharifzade Street (the section from A. Ahmadov Street to A. Abbasov Street);
- 4. The road leading from the Baku Ring Road to the "Meyvali Trade Center".
These infrastructure improvements are part of a broader initiative by the government of Azerbaijan to modernize the transport network in Baku. The State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads regularly conducts such maintenance and reconstruction projects to accommodate the growing volume of traffic in the capital and improve the overall quality of the Republic's road infrastructure. These efforts are aimed at enhancing urban mobility and ensuring the longevity of the city's primary transport arteries.
