The USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier, belonging to the US Navy, has moved away from its current deployment zone following the launch of four ballistic missiles by Iran.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the press service of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) released an official statement regarding the incident. According to the report, the American aircraft carrier left the area where it was conducting its mission and began moving toward the Indian Ocean.
In response, the US Central Command confirmed that the vessel had come under fire but stated that it was not hit by the Iranian missiles. This development comes amid heightened regional tensions, where the presence of US naval assets serves as a strategic deterrent. Under the administration of US President Donald Trump, the United States has maintained a robust military posture in the Middle East to ensure the security of international shipping lanes and support regional allies.
